“Mihai Viteazul” National Intelligence Academy (MVNIA) is a higher education military institution, part of the Romanian Intelligence Service, specialized in the training of intelligence officers, conducting research in the field of intelligence and security studies and promoting the security culture of the civil society in Romania. The Academy's research interests lie in two main research areas: security and intelligence, focusing on topics such as security strategies and policies, the evolution of the security environment in the Information Age, indicators of national security and early warning, information security, the evolution of risks and threats to Romania’s security, the concept of intelligence, the relation between intelligence and decision-makers, intelligence analysis, cyber-intelligence, OSINT, intelligence cooperation, crisis management and organizational intelligence.
